EuroRAP and iRAP attended the UN Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC) at the WHO headquarters, 29-30 October 2019, Geneva.

On 29-30 October 2019, over 100 members of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC), representing governments, international organizations, NGOs and other groups convened in Geneva to discuss strategic steps in global road safety.

On the first day, the Third Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, Sweden 2020 was further prepared, and the Global Progress on Performance Targets and Service Delivery Mechanisms were described. On the second day, the seven project groups convened to discuss progress in implementing their work plans and plan their future activities and reported back.  A debrief on the current and upcoming UNRSC member activities was provided.

iRAP CEO Rob McInerney and EuroRAP’s Secretary General, Lina Konstantinopoulou presented the iRAP’s 2020 Innovation Workshop layout as an official side event of the 3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety. The event will bring together minister-led delegations to focus global priorities on achieving UN Road Safety Targets 3 and 4 to save lives.The workshop is co-hosted with the International Transport Forum and World Bank Global Road Safety Facility in Stockholm from 17-18 February.
