The EuroRAP Board announced today the appointment of Stephen Stacey to be its new Managing Director. He succeeds John Dawson, who continues in his other role as EuroRAP’s Chairman. Stephen Stacey joined the organisation on 3 November.
John Dawson said: “We are delighted that Stephen has joined the RAP family. His appointment has already been widely welcomed not least because he so well known to many of us through his leadership of Toyota’s support for EuroRAP and EuroNCAP compliance. As well as being a senior executive with Toyota Motor Europe and Hyundai Motor Company in Brussels, he brings twenty years experience in road transport including consultancy and oversight of non-profit entities.”
Stephen Stacey said: “I’m delighted to have this opportunity. EuroRAP is a key player in making our roads safer. John’s team has made a huge contribution. The commitment and hard work of EuroRAP’s members has been indispensable and I look forward to meeting them in the months ahead. I’m sure that together we can build on these secure foundations.”
