EuroRAP’s Secretary General, Lina Konstantinopoulou presented its work on ‘’Road that Cars can read’’ with several recommendations on the requirements for AVs. The report presents a knowledge base of current conventional collision patterns and countermeasures. It then examines how these countermeasures might change with increasing numbers of AVs on the road. She has also presented the CEF SLAIN project which will assess the readiness of infrastructure for Automation by collecting and analysing road attributes on the physical infrastructure and from the digital infrastructure readiness to support CAV operation in 4 member states.
