All the iRAP road survey data which is gathered for Europe and around the world, is processed through ViDA, iRAP’s free-to-air online platform.
It is the data processing engine for Star Ratings, FSI Estimates and Safer Road Investment Plans, hosting data and analysing results, and the portal for iRAP’s tools: Star Rating for Designs (SR4D), Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) the Star Rating Demonstrator. One of the great things about ViDA is that it uses a ‘risk worm’ to segment roads into different levels of risk. This means you can target investment to deliver the biggest return in lives saved and serious injuries prevented.
