iRAP win Prince Michael award for continuing to ensure safer roads worldwide

iRAP has won a Prince Michael award for Road Safety in Melbourne at the Policy & Donor Forum 2014.  The charity was established by EuroRAP in 2005 so that road assessment could be rolled out worldwide.  RAP has now been carried out in more than 75 countries.

The award was presented by Prince Michael to John Dawson, iRAP and EuroRAP Chairman together with Rob McInerney iRAP’s CEO, and Greg Smith iRAP’s Regional Director in Asia Pacific.

The award is recognition of iRAP’s work identifying affordable programmes of safety engineering which can save large numbers from being killed and seriously injured.
